The Disability Caucus provides a professional network for scholars of disability studies in the southeastern region. Goals include raising the visibility of disability studies in the field of Women's and Gender Studies and strengthening ties among disabled, mad, and neurodivergent members of WGS South. To foster community among members of this caucus, at least one panel is formed for each annual conference, and, at the discretion of the chair, additional remote events on feminist disability studies may be organized in other parts of the academic year.
